Why repeatable flight paths matter

Firms working in the fields of construction or landscape often need updates on the progress of their work or to monitor previous projects over the short and long term. While time consuming, there's arguably no better on-site time saver than building and saving routes within the drone user controller. 

Here we see a housing development broken down into sectors for the purpose of surveying their existing landscape architecture and its health. I prepped my end of the project by building routes, sector by sector, to include Above Ground Level altitudes and speed. It was definitely painstaking, but it allowed me to arrive on site, launch the drone, and focus solely on operating the camera to capture the best information that EPTDESIGN needed for their clients. 

These saved routes allow Aspen Aerial Services to provide clients with regular updates, including a visual map that coincides with the imagery they are viewing. Pinpoint accuracy is always the goal.
